This can be a tricky one, some ISP’s may be very restrictive in the connections they allow outside your internal network. We do a lot of the heavy lifting for you, however it may not always work as intended given the nature of the internet.

To help ensure you can remotely connect to your machine you can manually forward a few ports to your computer. In most cases this won’t be needed as Rainway will automatically do it for you.

Forward UDP ports 22000-22010 in your router if you’re having issues connecting from a different network.

If your connection still fails, its possible the network you’re connecting from is blocking the connection or your home ISP is not allowing it. Please forward us the information of your ISP so we can investigate further @ [email protected]

You might also consider disabling your anti-virus as its known to cause issues at times with connecting and updating.
